An early Victorian rosewood Davenport, the top with gilt brass three quarter gallery over a gilt tooled red leather to the lifting front, enclosing a satinwood interior with two rosewood drawers, the top supported on a pair of cabriole style supports, the right side with pen drawer over a bank of four graduated drawers, opposed by faux drawers to the left, raised on front foliate feet with brass casters, 21 x 21in. (53.25 x 53.25cm.), 32 ¾in. (83cm.) high.
