An Indian Damchiya 19th century carved wood Dowry chest trunk on legs. The chest having carved finial to each side surround a drop top with metal chain lock. The front intricately carved with stylized foliate & floral motifs and two central panels. Raised on squared and turned straight supports. Measures approx. 70cm x 75cm x 40cm.
