'To the Inhabitants of the Parish of Mylor Flushing, Jan. 13, 1817...,' A double sided small folio sheet, 327mm x 203mm, in the form of a written letter of address to the locals' previous Vestery Notice considering "the Wants and Distresses of the Poor belonging to this Parish...[which proposed] that the Farmers...will employ the Labourers at ten shillings wages per wee, six shillings of which are to be paid by themselves, and four shillings from the Poor-Rate," thought to be of dubious legality, the writer asks if any of them "ought to pay for part of the labour on the large farms of Messrs. Plomer, Carvoso, Elliott, Pellowe, or other comparatively large farmers in this Parish?", the address is only signed 'X-----', but it has W. Webb, Esqr added in MS, J. Lake, Commercial Printing-Office, Falmouth, 1817.
