King George V example named "17810 Gnr. L Walker RHA".  Together with 2 postcards of him in uniform ... 5 x French postcards ... 2 x silk postcards.  Medal with heavy stamp to rank.  


17810 L H G Walker. 2 Bty. 5th Bde RHA, died 24th March 1918.  Landed France 23/9/15.  Awarded DCM 3/6/1918 for conspicuous gallantry.  He advanced with forward Observation Officer behind Infantry and maintained visual communication all day under heavy shell fire.
