A BEAUTIFUL GEORGIAN DEMI-LUNE SHAPED MAHOGANY STRING INLAID FOLD OVER TEA TABLE, with a bow fronted single frieze drawer – with a pair of pull-ring brass handles with urn detail, the drawer opens to a compartmented interior. The top, frieze & tapered legs are all decorated with delicate satinwood & ebonised string inlaid detail. The back has a gate leg that opens to support the table when folded open. All resting on brass cup castors. Condition: over all for the age of the piece excellent, there are some old restorations that can be seen, and some ware to the edges of the legs, the table when folded open doesn’t sit fully flat in the centre, and there is an old crack running to one end of the table surface – additional images can be provided if required.
