c.1400 4½" x 3" actual size in larger double sided frame, this was in the Fowler family in the 16th century, Sir Thomas Fowler (d.1590) was an English diplomat and was the broker of the 1565 marriage between Mary, Queen of Scots (1542-87) and Henry Stuart, Lord Darnley (1545-67)
