An early 20th century yellow metal heart pendant/locket, the plain polished front with applied fly, the fly with red stone eyes, old cut diamond and turquoise body, and seed pearl wings, opening to reveal two vacant apertures, engraved to reverse 'August 29 1897' 5cm long, 26gms

Front of the locket shows minor surface scratches and blemishes (seen with x10 loupe)
Turquoise body shows blemish to top of it.
Pearls are well matched in colour with a creamy hue.
Diamond shows minor inclusions under x10 loupe.
Reverse of locket shows surface scratches and blemishes (seen with x10 loupe)
Interior with surface scratches.
Bale shows signs of thinning.
Hinge closes firmly.
Metal is unmarked
