DUBLIN - THE RARE PRESTAMP "REGISTER'D" DATESTAMP ON LIMERICK COVER TO SCOTLAND; Fine 30 May 1829 EL from "LIMERICK" (red cds on the front) to Stirling charged "3/-" (double rate) with a very fine rare red Dublin "REGISTER'D" transit cds (1 June) nicely placed on the front with black Glasgow transit "Addl/½" mark; the contents show that a valuable Banker's Order was enclosed for "£175-16s-0d", hence the need to register this letter and pay the double rate.
