A group of Furness Railway signal lever plates from Plumpton Junction box between Grange Over Sands and Ulverston. a) 32, FACING POINTS TO PRIORY / TO ULVERSTON, b) 46 DISC SIDG TO DOWN MAIN, 2½"x6½", c) 15 DISC FROM TURNTABLE, etc, 2½"x8". Plumpton was the junction for Windermere Lakeside and the Conishead Priory branch, the latter closing in 1916 though a short section to Bardsea Works was retained until 1994. Each engraved brass, with brackets to the rear, some face marks, lightly polished. (see lot ...) (Postage Band: B)
