A JAPANESE CARVED BOXWOOD FIGURE ON STAND, 19TH CENTURY. Well carved depicting a man wearing one rope sandal reclining dressed in loose fitted robe open at the chest exposing the ribbed chest, holding a bat in his left hand and rolled mat on his back. On a fitted openwork hardwood stand. Approx. 18cm length x 12.5cm tall.
