Geoff Felix (British, b.1946), ‘Cheeky Boy’ full-size custom-made ventriloquist figure of a young boy / cheeky boy by Geoff Felix. Hand-painted papier-mâché and fine leather, with six separate movements to allow both eyes to wink, eyebrows to raise, the movements to raise both top and bottom lip with the mouth made in fine leather to move realistically, movement to move the ears. Fibre glass body, papier-mâché hands. Geoff Felix is famed for his realistic copies of Leonard Insull puppets. Located in Middlesex, UK, Felix is a puppeteer, ventriloquist figure maker, and Punch and Judy performer. Dressed in smart suit with top hat. This figure was custom-made and took 18 months to complete. Overall height head to toe approx. 113cm.
