Former Bristol Zoo Gardens - an original vintage c1954 hand painted Bristol Zoo coat of arms, believed to be one of the original paintings from which others were reproduced. Featuring the motto 'Ask Of The Beasts & They Shall Teach Thee.' Bristol Zoo notation to top. Framed and glazed. As displayed at Bristol Zoo Gardens since its awarding on May 20th 1954. This exact artwork was reproduced for the cover of the 1955 Guide Book. Measures approx: 34cm x 41cm.
