A worksplate, ENGLISH ELECTRIC/VULCAN FOUNDRY, 2871/D587, 1960, from a BR Class 37 No D6708, built in February 1961 and allocated new to Ipswich, renumbered 37008 in March 1974 and 37352 in June 1988, reverting to 37008 in July 1989. Withdrawn from Tinsley in February 1992, it was cut up at Adtranz, Crewe by M.R.J.Phillips via Gwent Demolition to P.Waterman for spares. (Postage Band: B)
