19th Century Victorian silver castle top vinaigrette. The vinaigrette having a hinged lid with view of Abbotsford house, the home of Sir Walter Scott. The vinaigrette has a gilt interior with pierced scrolled grille and chased detailing to outer case. Hallmarked Birmingham with indistinct date mark and Victoria silhouette. Measures 4 x 2.6cm.
