1831 Coronation of King William IV official silver medal graded AU 58 by NGC (Eimer 1251, BHM 1475). Obverse: bare-head right-facing bust of King William IV. Legend around reads 'WILLIAM THE FOURTHCROWNED SEP. 8 1831'. Reverse: portrait of Queen Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen wearing diadem, 'ADELAIDE. QUEEN CONSORT. CROWNED SEP: 8 1831.'. This is the official Royal Mint medal for this coronation, designed by William Wyon with the obverse after Sir Francis Leggatt Chantrey. Comes in NGC holder (#2903936-003). Diameter: 33mm.
