A cabside numberplate, SOUTHERN RAILWAY, 2545, from a London Brighton & South Coast Railway C2 Class 0-6-0 No 545 built by Vulcan Foundry, Works No 1817 in December 1901, rebuilt and re-classified to C2X in July 1908 becoming SR 2545 and BR 32545. It spent its final years at Norwood Junction from where it was withdrawn in December 1961 and cut up at Ashford Works. Cast brass, 13½"x7½", the front background lightly cleaned but unpainted.
