1871 4th Dragoon Guards heavy cavalry officer's (1821 Pattern) sword by Wilkinson Sword No 17757, blade ornately etched with crown/VR cypher, A.G. Lloyd in scroll/4th Dragoon Guards, ricasso marked Henry/Wilkinson/Pall Mall/London with By Appointment in scroll above, sword nearly extremely fine, scabbard with some light bruising.
Arthyr Grey Lloyd was appointed Cornet in 4th Dragoon Guards 31/10/71, promoted Sub Lieut 1/11/71, Lieut 31/10/72, he does not appear on the Army List after 1876. An excellent named sword to a prestigious regiment. BUYER MUST COLLECT. (See photo)
