PATRICK BRONTE, 'John Cousin of Idle', (19x10cm) a copy made by Patrick Bronte of an entry from Haworth Church's Funeral Register for a burial from May 26th 1833, signed 'P Bronte, Incumbent of Haworth Yorkshire.' Bronte ministered to Haworth from 1820 until his death in 1861 and likely officiated at Cousin's funeral himself. This fragment has been cut from a larger piece of paper and has old folds and a later pencil annotation noting Bronte's death (Est. plus 17.5% premium) (Illustrated)
