A Stiletto Dagger, 17th/early 18th century, probably Italian, with slender blade of stiff-diamond section changing to form a short ricasso flattened for the thumb, the hilt formed of an iron crosspiece with moulded straight quillons and faceted horn grip rising to form a domed pommel, the grip and pommel each decorated with an inlaid design of small horn plaques arranged between clusters of minute nails (the blade point and some inlay missing), blade length 18cm
