dark blue/black leather covered hard crown with fur to the peak, sides and crown (simulates an early flying helmet). Gilt and blue plaited cord strap. Silvered and gilt, Kings crown full dress cap badge. Short feather plume with gilt wire lower mount. Brown leather and silk sweatband. Brown, quilted silk lining with "Hawkes & Co Ltd" maker's label. Black leather chinstrap. Minor wear.
