A LARGE MID 19TH CENTURY BRASS REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK. the Roman numeral dial with subsidiary alarm dial indistinctly signed for James & Walter Marshall, Edinburgh, on a brass two train repeating movement striking half hourly to a gong, movement stamped serial number 1837, the brass moulded case with five bevelled glass panels, engraved to the front with a monogram and dated December 8th 1871, with key and original leather carry case, height excluding handle 15cm.

Appears to wind and strike, with alarm and repeat mechanisms appearing to work at time of cataloguing but functionality is not guaranteed, hairline crack running through the alarm dial and maker's name is rubbed and worn, light wear and tarnishing to the brass case, carry case worn and handle broken.
