An Early XX Century Chinese Green Soapstone Carving, of a seated boy holding a flower beside a large carp, a small fish spouting from it's mouth, 46cm long.

More Information

1) The fish/wave that comes out of the large fishes mouth has been broken off and badly stuck together with glue where it comes out of the mouth. The fishes tail and wave have also been broken off and re-stuck. This section is not detachable from the large fish. 2) 1cm chip to tunic of Buddha. 3) Chips to flower petals and waves. 4) Crack/flaw to tail of the large fish/waves. 5) Brown staining to Buddha, backing fish and smaller fish and waves. 6) Tiny chips top fins on top of the fish.
