A Derby globular ewer, with flared rim, painted by Edward Withers, with bouquet of colourful summer flowers, below a scalloped Smith's blue border applied with gilt sun bursts and white seed pearls, the interior with banded Smith's blue border applied with gilt scrolling foliage, 19cm high, crown over D in puce, 1780

Portions of crazing throughout. Some rubbed wear to gilding, occasionally flaked chips of enamel. Some pooling of glaze. The foot with some manufacturing blemishes and a fired chip. One portion of the outswept rim restored. Please see attached images.
