1941 KGVI ½d Pale green, 1d pale scarlet, 2d pale orange, 2½d light ultramarine and 3d pale violet, the five values issued in lighter colours in 1941, all in horizontal or vertical (2d) strips of three, affixed to two pieces cut from the Mauritania Post Office U.P.U Specimen collection, tied by violet "SPECIMEN / COLLECTION / MAURITANIE" handstamps.
