A 17TH CENTURY FLEMISH OYSTER LABURNUM STRONG BOX applied overall with 'fleur de lys' strapwork mounts and shaped corner clasps, the hinged lid and fall front inlaid with central segmental circle and 'butterflied' spandrels, the sides with a pair of carrying handles on conforming ground, the rosewood veneered interior with compartment to lid, on a Regency rosewood stand, 45cm wide x 80cm high (faults).
