A rare and documented William & Mary OEWS quart straight-sided dome-lidded tankard, Birmingham, circa 1690

The plain drum with entasis and engraved ‘Soulkholm’ to the upper front, the lid with front denticulations, scroll thumbpiece, handle with upper triangular ribbed decoration and ‘shield’ terminal, crown ‘X’ to rim, touchmark inside base of William Wood II, (fl.1665-1726), (PS10406), height 16.5cm
