George III silver pair cased verge pocket watch, by J Wilders, London, hallmarked London 1784, repousse outer case worked with figures, white enamelled dial with Arabic numerals, signed back plate with tapered square pillars, 50mm diameter; also a Swiss silver pair cased verge pocket watch by Duchene, Geneve, plain outer case, signed white enamelled dial, signed back plate, with square pillars, 47mm diameter (2)

Wilders: Dial is cracked from 2 to 5 o'clock. There is wear to the repousse outer case revealing holes. The case closes crisply. The interior case has dents around the outer edge and small dents to the back. There is a repair around the suspension ring stem as it joins the case. Scratches around the back plate. The watch does not tick when wound.
Duchene: The outer case has some light dents to the back. Some fine hair cracks around the chapter ring at 10 o'clock and 9 o'clock. The inner case has light dents, particularly around the outer edge. The movement ticks when wound.
