Charles I (1625-1649) Crown, Tower mint under the King, group II, type 2a, mintmark harp (1632-33). King on horseback left, shouldering sword, CAROLVS DG MAG BRIT FRA ET HIB REX. Rev, oval garnished Royal Arms, C R above, CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO, 30.00gm (S. 2755; N. 2192). Some small scratches, otherwise Good Very Fine, good round flan. Ex. Baldwin’s, shop ticket, post 1946, in AHB’s own hand, priced at 14/10/-. Ex. H Paget Col. (Glendining 25 September 1946).
