A pair of large Chinese blue and white ‘Buddhist lion’ vases and covers, 19th century, each painted with Buddhist lions amid clouds and flames, one with a large brocaded ball, with floral borders and domed covers with lion-dog finials, 64.5cm high, glaze imperfections

It is likely that the covers are associated and not original. Both vases with some glaze imperfections including bubbling to the glaze. The first vase has some fritting and glaze losses to the rim, otherwise both vases in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected..
