A scale model / doll's house depicting Montacute House, Montacute, Somerset, the late Elizabethan mansion which was constructed in local ham stone in the late 16th century by Sir Edward Phelps, Master of the Rolls and the Prosecutor during the Gunpowder Trial. Constructed from pine with some internal features including stairs, fireplaces etc, approx 92cms wide, 64cms depth and 38cms high.
