A George V cased hallmarked silver and ebony conductors baton. The baton having a silverÿpommel and collar decorated withÿan embossed scrolled design. The pommelÿhaving a central cartouche with inscription; 'Presented to A. Ernest Hill Esq by the Bristol 1st Exhibition Orchestra, Sept 1926.' Hallmarked for London, 1925. Makers mark partially legible. Weight approx (excluding case) 79g.ÿMeasures approx 52cm x 2cm.
