A Staffordshire figure group of gentleman hunters in confrontation under an arched forest bower with game birds, circa 1850, polychrome enamel painted with applied foliage texture, on a white, naturalistic, gilt-lined ovoid base, 33 cm high.
Very good, no chips or breaks and the foliate arch is intact.
