A WWI M.C. GALLANTRY GROUP OF THREE MEDALS TO AN OFFICER WHO SERVED WITH THE 28TH LONDON REGIMENT AND 16TH BTN ROYAL WARWICKSHIRE REGIMENT (3RD BIRMINGHAM PALS), together with a copy of M.I.C. (Medal Index Card) and a copy of the Birmingham Pals book by Terry Carter (hardbound), the group comprises of Military Cross GEO V, un-named, height 46mm x width 41mm, the reverse of the cross is heavily polished, British War & Victory medal named to 2 Lieut W.H. Griffiths, the group is mounted on red cloth and card, with a brief description of the action regarding the award of the MC, Griffiths is named in the award honours section of the book, the group also comes with a box for the Military Cross
