A Chinese boxwood figure of an immortal, 19th century,
the figure holding a tablet in his left hand and standing on a stepped pedestal,
29.5 cm high
The figure has some dark staining to the wood in areas. There are two small slots each side of his hat where there may have been plumes of ribbons once attached now missing. There are occasional fine age cracks to the wood otherwise in good condition.
