A Belgian 6 shot 12mm Lefaucheux double action pinfire revolver by Francotte, number 115022, c 1863, octagonal barrel 155mm engraved in Gothic script “Bertonnet en Buenos-Ayres”, the breech stamped “E. LEFAUCHEUX INVR. BREVETE” (worn), Liege proved, the frame and cylinder engraved overall with vine leaves and tendrils and bearing Francotte’s crowned “AF” mark, with walnut grips carved with vine leaves, and lanyard ring.
