A 18th century Russian silver charka / beaker by Andrei Kostrinsky, Moscow 1748, of cylindrical tapering form, with embossed scrolling foliate decoration with matted ground, the based engrave with a presentation inscription 'Julius Stjernvall, 26/10/1934, Vanner, Elise & Alanike N', 9.5cm (3.7in), 100g (3.5oz) Julius Stjernvall (26 October 1874 - 6 May 1939) was a Finnish engineer, businessman and vuorineuvos.
