This vase was made and sold at the Moorcroft September Open Weekend Auction held on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th September 2019, lot 16

'Emma chose a classic vase shape to tell of her interpretation of a painted called Tamlaine by James Herbert MacNair based on a fable called the Ballard of Tam Lin. The story revolved around a woman named Janet who passed through the forest of Carterhaugh and meets Tam Line who is a slave to the Fairy Queen. This unique version is brought to us on an ivory backdrop and a smaller shape'
