A Regency style mahogany longcase clock with an associated eight-day movement striking on a bell, the hood with wrythen turned pillars flanking the 13.5 inch diameter circular brass dial with subsidiary seconds dial, signed 'Thomas Hencher, Musselburgh', height 220cm, S/D.
The seat board has been raised indicating a marriage of movement to the case. There are a pair of later weights and a pendulum present. There is a vertical split to the front of the base.
