BDE FIELD P.O." c.d.s applied at sea, the cover with 24 Oct. c.d.s and "1d" charge mark, the card with 24 Nov c.d.s, the interesting message including "the Sydney, one of our escort sank the Emden & her collier the other day only 18 miles away".
