A 19th Century carved mahogany open armchair, in the French Hepplewhite taste with an upholstered stuff over cartouche-shaped back, padded arm supports with husk and scroll terminals and serpentine seat in cream ground, bird and floral design silk damask fabric with paterae and husk decorated seat rail on moulded cabriole legs, headed with shell and husk garlands, terminating in scroll feet.
