JOHN MOORE of Ipswich (1821-1902) An unframed oil on wooden board 'West Dock'. Signed bottom right. Label verso. 33cm x 38cm

More Information

As you can see from the images, the picture is no longer framed and this has left the edges and corners open to damage with the corners lifting slightly and there is a distinct line around the edge of the painting where the frame was, lifting some paint on it’s removal. There are some chips to the board around the edges, the largest top left. There are some noticeable scratches to the painting but nothing that looks too deep. There are no signs of tears to the board or creases.
