Mkumbara. 1934 30c Size H registration envelope franked 5c, the heading altered from "Registered Letter" to "Registered Newspaper", bearing a registration label with manuscript "Mkumbara Point", violet boxed "MKUMBARA" handstamp on the front, the stamp cancelled by Kilimanjaro T.P.O Dn c.d.s (Feb 15) with a further strike on reverse. One of just three recorded covers with this handstamp and an exceptional use on a registered cover, a few light tone spots, otherwise fine and rare, ex Pennycuick collection. Photo on Page 214.
