1931 (Jan 8) Stampless cover from London to L. Hollingworth in Zanzibar with "3D / TO PAY / W.C.1" dues applied in error, manuscript "T30", 12c green "cent·s" variety + 1930 6c yellow dues tied by a Zanzibar c.d.s (Jan 27), manuscript "1073" register number. The 12c with small defect at foot, nevertheless the only recorded example of this 12c variety recorded on cover, with just six examples of this variety recorded in total.
