French Empire Revival brass photograph frame, aperture size 14.5cm x 10.5cm, the frame 18cm x 20cm

There is degradation to the gilt finish on the metal frame, particularly around the bottom edge and on the crest, also degradation around the pins attaching the appliques to the inner border of the frame (see images). The original bracket on the back of the frame is deficient. There is some damp damage and is visible inside the central aperture, this is on the back of the frame. There is also some water damage to the silk inner border, again see images.
