[1905], [iv], [465]pp, [14]ff ink manuscript index, presumably the work of the author and issued bound with the letterpress sheets, consecutive pencilled pagination throughout, illustrated with folding/or double-page maps/plans and full-page illustrations, contemporary green quarter-roan over cloth boards, rubbed wear, top edge marbled, others uncut, 4to 

An extremely scarce 'sammelband' of the author's articles, originally written for The Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological and Natural History Society, here collected together, privately printed at the author's expense, and presented to his family and friends. 

Provenance: Sir Frederic George Kenyon GBE, KCB, TD, FBA, FSA (1863-1952), President of The British Academy (1917-21), Director and Principal Librarian of The British Museum (1909-30), and brother of the author, Robert Lloyd Kenyon (1848-1931), of Pradoe House, Oswestry; presented to FGK by his brother, ffep inscribed: F G Kenyon from his brother The Author, Christmas 1905.
