A 19thC Staffordshire pearlware Jug, commemorating Queen Caroline, c.1820, with print of Queen Caroline, titled 'Long Live Queen Caroline', the reverse with four lines of with four lines of supportive protest verse: ‘May the Rose of England never blow, May the Thistle of Scotland never grow, May the Harp of Ireland never play, TILL QUEEN CAROLINE has won the day’, on yellow ground, some restoration, H 16cm.
