Bndg. worn, torn top lh. lwer cover and head/tail of spine, inner hinges cracked, early leaves soiled and fore-edges with tears, some spots etc. but main text gen. good, pp.800 and 1237/38 clean tear no loss, spotted stains pp.1045-49, index leaves at end frail outer edges, last one damaged (but text hardly touched), sm. worm upper margins to p.140, 2 index leaves misbound; incl. the 2nd title (Richard Field, 1610), 18th c. bklabel - W.Chipping, Leeds (with ms. presentation note, 1779, beneath)
