A 1976 Kawasaki Z900, registration number LBP 652P, green/gold/black. The big Zs first broke cover in 1972 with the launch of the ground breaking Z1. Featuring a 900cc DOHC inline four engine, they were endowed with scintillating performance with a top speed approaching 130 mph. For 1976 the large Kawasaki saw some mild revisions which included twin front disc brakes and 26mm carburettors and was renamed Z900. From the first year of production this well presented example comes direct from long term enthusiast ownership. Displaying a believed low mileage of just under 29000 miles on the odometer this iconic 1970s superbike will be offered for sale with a history file. Few bikes have had such an impact on the motorcycle world as Kawasaki’s big Zs, and today all versions of this landmark model are highly sort after. V5C, MOT to March 2019 See illustration
