George V silver hammered hot water jug, by AE Jones, Birmingham 1918, baluster body decorated with a band of fruiting vines, bakelite handle and finial, height 19cm, gross weight approx. 304g; also an AE Jones hammered silver teapot, similarly decorated, with ebony handle and finial, Birmingham 1955, height 12cm, gross weight approx. 415g (2)

The teapot has a replacement finial. There are some sharp knocks around the edge of the top opening. There are some light scratches to the body. The hallmarks are clear on the underside of the base.
The hot water jug has a replaced finial, a bend to the hinge. The lid now gaps by approximately 3-4mm at the front. There is a compression dent to the foot. Fine surface scratches. There are some light dents around the baluster. No further damage to report.
