AN 18TH CENTURY WORCESTER PORCELAIN BASKET, CIRCA 1770, oval form, the tapering lattice work sides decorated with pink florets and applied flower heads amongst foliage, twin ring handles naturalistically modelled as tree branches, the interior hand painted reserve depicting birds of paradise, surrounded by a rich cobalt glaze with gilded scroll foliate decoration

Good overall appearance
Glued repairs and chipped paint losses to both handles, but the rest of the basket in good order. No further visible chips or cracks. Surface wear to the gilding consistent with age and handling
